SINGER Piping / Cording Overlocker Presser Foot

This Piping / Cording foot is used for sewing tape between two fabrics in one operation.

To Suit The Following Models:

14HD Series 14U Series. A change of shank is required. Shank needed is 554239 14SH SE017

How to use:

Preparing your machine:

• Needle: Left or both left and right
• Stitch type: Three-thread overlock or four-thread overlock
• Stitch type: 2-4mm
• Differential feed lever: Normal position
• Upper knife: Working position

Sewing:

1. Place fabric with the right sides facing.
2. Place cording (piping) in between upper and lower fabrics and insert fabrics under the cording foot with cording positioned in the groove under the foot.
3. Sew while guiding both cording (piping) and fabric.

Note: Cording (piping) using bias tape and cord can also be done with this foot.
